Together with the Orquesta Bética de Cámara and its conductor, Michael Thomas, Diego Ares will celebrate the centenary of the Sevillian premiere of the Retablo de Maese Pedro by Manuel de Falla. The recital will include the world premiere of another work by the composer Albero Carretero

Manuel de Falla's Retablo de Maese Pedro was first performed on 23 and 24 March 1923 in Seville. On the occasion of the centenary of this premiere, Diego Ares joins the Orquesta Bética de Cámara to pay tribute to the universal art of Manuel de Falla and the importance that this work had in the incursion of the harpsichord into contemporary music.
